Today we’re going to have a Christmas Special where we’re going to talk about Finding Your Passion in Life.
I love this time of the year!
I’m soooo ready for it.
Santa paid me a visit with an important question from Holly about finding her passion in life.
Check out the video for more information.
In the meantime, let’s get right into the actionable steps for this question.
Actionable Steps:
#1. Find the Love
Answer the following questions:
- What do you LOVE doing (If you don’t have answer to this question, the next one will be perfect for you)?
- What do you enjoy consuming (watching, reading, listening to)?
- What do you get excited to talk about?
For me? the answer is TEACHING. I love doing it, watching videos, and reading and listening to podcasts about it. I can also talk about it forever, as you can clearly tell if you’ve watched any of my videos.
#2. Light the Tree.
If you’re still unsure, talk to a friend about what they believe lights you up like a Christmas tree.
#3. Knock the Door.
Don’t just sit and wait for inspiration to come knocking at your front door. Immerse yourself in everything related to your topic of interest.
#4. Shake it Up.
How do you enjoy working? Do you need some music, food, or to watch a television show? Include that into your work time so that you can shake it up and make the most of your time.
Right now, I’m into watching re-runs of Star Trek, drinking eggnog and enjoying Christmas cookies as I work on creating material for these episodes.
#5. Imagine the Mountains.
Finding and developing your passion isn’t always going to be easy. When the going gets rough, many people want to give up and state that it wasn’t meant to be.
Stick it out.
Imagine a mountain. Remember that there will be highs and lows but when you take a step back to admire your work, it will be beautiful in time.
Recap:
Let’s recap really quickly. Today, we looked at the following:

Additional Thoughts:
So that is my A to Santa’s Q.

While I’m waiting to hear back from you, I’m going to indulge in some more eggnog and sneak in some Christmas cookies. Sounds yummy, right?
