.
You’ve spent some late nights on Google researching:

The more you search and consider different options, the more overwhelmed you feel.
The more you try different options, the more frustrated your child feels.
You may be thinking:

Where do I even start…
There are so many options out there that I don’t know which one will work. If I have to spend too much time and money, count me out.

I barely have enough time…
Between cooking, cleaning, dealing with random outbursts and taking care of everything else, how can I fit this into my schedule? I’m overwhelmed!

I can’t afford to do this…
I‘ve already invested so much of money into trying to find an answer, I don‘t want to break the bank with yet another strategy.

The thing is…
You’re not looking for a quick answer that won’t work. You want your child to learn how to self-regulate for the betterment of their future and for your own wellbeing and sanity.
me and focus on all of your children instead of just the one who is constantly having an outburst.
You want to go out in public without having to deal with an outburst.
You’re so thankful for your children but you know that you can help them manage their emotions in a more appropriate way.
Here’s where it gets good…
You can help your child with autism or ADHD self-regulate on a minimalist budget and show them how to use it right away.
By creating an individualized sensory space.
A sensory space is a way to help your child manage their emotions in private while allowing you to monitor and document their development.

Imagine how it would feel if you could…

Work through this course at your own pace.

Hey there!
I’m Charlotte Lim and I’m so glad that you’re here.
I’m a teacher & a mom. As far as I’m concerned, I was BORN to do both. I’m so passionate about it that I create resources & courses for educators & parents so that we can improve how we educate our children.
I’ve been teaching children with ADHD and autism for several years. I’ve also gone on a personal journey with my family in regards to both, ADHD and autism so I understand what you’re going through.
I have taken my undergraduate degree in archaeology, my B.Ed specializing in social and emotional learning, and my M.Ed focusing in language and literacy, and combined it with my own sense of fun and balance to help my students excel by managing their emotions and learning how to find their focus.
I’m so excited for you and your child.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long will it take to create and implement this sensory space? What if I don’t have time?
I get that you’re busy. You’ll create the space within the first week and teach your child how to use the space the following week. The course will be chunked up in bitesize pieces so that you can work on it during small pockets of time.
2. Who is this for?
This is for parents and teachers who have children with ADHD or high (level 1) to medium (level 2) functioning autism who are struggling to help their child self-regulate.
3. How long before I start seeing results?
If you implement it within the first week and teach your child how to use it the week after, you should start to see results the following week or the week after. This will also depend on the age of your child.
Working on the strategies outside of your home or classroom may take a few more weeks to a couple of months because the idea will be more abstract for your child. If you stay consistent, you will see a huge difference.
4. How long do I have access to the course?
You will have lifetime access! No need to get in crunch mode and try to scarf it all down. But don’t put it off and make a new year’s resolution out of it either. My advice is to take some time once or twice a week to watch a lesson and implement it right away.
5. I have more questions—how can I get in touch?
Don’t see your answer here? No worries! Send me an email at colourfulteach@gmail.com and I will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.
