Create Meaningful Goals!
After writing my previous two posts, A New Year’s Resolution to Keep YOU At The Center of It All and A Positive Twist to Your Child’s New Year’s Resolution, I realized that while it is great to have a goal or a New Year’s resolution, it is incredibly difficult to keep the momentum going after a few days, weeks, or even months. In time, other priorities becomes more important and we forget about what we initially wanted to accomplish.
To ensure that we keep our priorities in check, we need to go beyond just thinking about and writing down our goals. It is so important to know the reasons behind them because that adds meaning to our resolutions. When they become meaningful to us, our desire to ensure that we succeed permeates through every cell in our being and gives purpose to everything that we do.
